Exodus 40 - St. Pius X

Lent is a time to take stock of our lives and recognize the ways we settle for less than the greatness we were made for. This year, I’m honored to be walking an Exodus 40 journey with a group of young men from our youth group who are taking Lent seriously and seeking to grow closer to the Lord.

As an outward sign of their interior journey toward the cross, these young men shaved their heads at youth group last week and have committed to living lives of intentional asceticism this Lent. Their commitment is a powerful witness to the hunger our youth have for God.

Please join me in praying for these young men—and for all of our youth group—as we journey through Lent, seeking to conform our lives more closely to Jesus. May the Lord bless their sacrifices and lead them into the greatness they were created for!
