Damascus Catholic Youth Camp

Communio is sending 40 + high school youth to Damascus Catholic Youth Camp this

summer!

Damascus is a missionary movement that partners with the work of the Holy Spirit to bring

revival to the Catholic Church in America. Their mission is to awaken, empower, and equip a

generation to live the adventure of the Catholic faith through world-class programs and an

environment of encounter.

Young people are more likely to lose their faith than ever before:

5 out of 6 will stop practicing their Catholic faith

within 10 years of their Confirmation.

You can help us counter this statistic by helping these young people go to Damascus.

We hope you will support our young people seeking God this summer for a week

at a Catholic youth summer camp.

Who: Boys Camp; Girls grades 6-12

Where: Centerburg Ohio

When: August 3rd - 8th

Why: Allow these young people to step away from the distractions of daily life and experience

high-adventure activities that lead to life-changing faith experiences.

How much: $1500 per person (airfare, lodging, camp; meals included).

Our Experience:

This past August some of our adult leaders experienced and witnessed firsthand the camp in

action and came away deeply inspired and with a zeal for the Lord and our youth. We

desperately want to encourage and pass on the Catholic faith to the next generation. As of

today, we have 35 kids signed up to attend. In challenging financial times, teens are slow to ask

family and friends for assistance to meet this cost. Here you can support them in their pursuit of

experiencing the deep and lasting blessings of Damascus.
